He has over 17 years of experience in public international law, international human rights, and legal writing, with a focus on environmental and health issues. He supports the negotiations for a plastic treaty that covers the full lifecycle of plastics, from extraction, production, transport, use, and end of life worldwide within the United Nations. He also helps countries to implement the Basel Plastics Amendments and to address the human rights dimension of the plastic crisis.
