MARLICE SUMMARY: 2024
Conclusions, presentations, video and photos
The 3rd International Forum on Marine Litter and Circular Economy, MARLICE 2024, was held in Valencia, bringing together leading national and international experts in the field of marine litter.
During the three days of the forum, plenary sessions with the presence of experts, round tables or specific dynamic conversations on key issues coexisted, where all stakeholders, citizens, productive sector, public administration and research have shared knowledge and experiences to find solutions to marine litter.
More than 200 attendees from 18 countries met for three days in Valencia for the third edition of this forum, which has become an international benchmark in the fight against marine litter.
MARLICE is committed to being a space for coexistence that allows professional contact networks, seeking understanding between the different actors involved in this problem. The MARLICE community, which began in 2019 with the holding of the first forum in Seville, continues to grow thanks to the collaboration and commitment of numerous public and private entities.
The Spanish Marine Litter Association is organising this event as part of its commitment to move towards waste-free oceans. Thanks to all the people and organisations that make Marlice possible.
