The third International Forum on Marine Litter and Circular Economy, MARLICE 2024, has been held in Valencia, bringing together the largest experts at the national and international levels in the field of marine litter.
During the three days that have composed the forum, plenary sessions have coexisted with the presence of experts, round tables or specific dynamic conversations on key issues, where all stakeholders, citizenship, productive sector, public administration and research have shared knowledge and experiences to find solutions to marine litter.
More than 200 attendees from 18 countries have lived together for three days in Valencia, in the third edition of this forum that has become an international reference in the fight against marine litter.
MARLICE is committed to being a space of coexistence that allows professional networks of contact, seeking understanding between the different actors involved in this problem. The Marlice community, which began in 2019 with the celebration of the first forum in Seville, continues to grow thanks to the collaboration and commitment of numerous public and private entities.
The Spanish Association of Marine Garbage -AEBAM- organizes this event as part of its commitment to advance towards waste-free oceans.
