Rui Martins is Director of the largest Marine Park in the North Atlantic and, since 2024, serves as Regional Director of Maritime Policies in the Azores. He has extensive experience in public service, having been a member of the Azorean Legislative Assembly for two terms, where he engaged in committees on environment, economy, social affairs, and European funds oversight. With a background in health services management and quality auditing, he also maintains a strong civic involvement through leadership roles in local institutions dedicated to social solidarity and urban development.
