She holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (2005), with a specialization in Nature Management and Conservation. In 2006, she began working at SPEA through a professional internship with the LIFE Priolo project, during which she conducted a Study on the Socioeconomic Benefits provided by the Pico da Vara / Ribeira do Guilherme SPA. She coordinated the Priolo Environmental Center from its opening in 2007 and led the process for the Priolo Lands to join the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism. She is currently responsible for the marine areas and citizenship programs at SPEA Azores.
