Martina Jager is founder and director of The Route 66 Foundation and creator of the EcoResilience and “Waste to Wisdom” approach on Gran Canaria. Her work brings together young Europeans from different social and cultural backgrounds in a unique environmental awareness programme focused on clean ups, circular thinking and ecological talent development. Martina believes awareness is the first step towards change and that young people play a key role in shaping a more sustainable future through collective responsibility, practical action and collaboration.
