Description

he main objectives of this session are to identify the effects of litter pollution on marine life, assess the extent of these impacts on different habitats and species, and propose strategies and solutions to mitigate and prevent these effects. Participants will share recent research and studies, discuss best waste management practices, and explore new technologies and policies that can help address this global issue

These presentations will lay the groundwork for a participatory debate to share lessons learned and identify the main challenges and needs, as well as the potential for improvement.

Objetives

  • Evaluate the effects of marine litter on biota
  • Identify challenges to drive effective actions to protect the oceans and their biodiversity
