Hilda de Pablo Leonardo is a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of Lusófona University. She holds a degree in Oceanography (ULPGC, Spain), a master’s (IST/UNL) and a PhD from IST, University of Lisbon, focused on hydrodynamic and biogeochemical modelling. She has participated in and coordinated more than 30 projects, applying numerical models in marine systems. Currently, within the FreelitterAT (Atlantic Area Programme) project, she leads the modelling WP, conducts plastic degradation experiments, and develops systems for the removal of contaminants in wastewater.
