Biologist and a postgraduate degree in Public Affairs. He co-leads the Public Affairs and Sustainability Department of the pan-European association of plastics producers, Plastics Europe, at its representative office for Spain and Portugal. He is responsible for issues related to plastics in the environment, such as the Operation Clean Sweep® programme, which aims to prevent plastic pellets from entering the environment. He also collaborates as a lecturer at the Menéndez Pelayo International University and at the Complutense University of Madrid.
