Dr. Stephan Kabasci holds a PhD in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Dortmund. He has been working at Fraunhofer UMSICHT since 1992, where he occupied different positions as research engineer, group and department lead in the fields of environmental and biotechnology, use of renewable resources and bio-based plastics. Since 2021, he has been responsible for project development in the institute’s research management department in the thematic area of Circular Economy.
