Biography

President of the Canary Islands Foundation for Recycling and Sustainable Development and CEO of Ewaste Canarias, the only WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) treatment plant in the Canary Islands (PIRS, Tenerife). He is a lecturer and member of the academic committee for the Expert Degree in Circular Economy for Isolated Territories at the ULPGC. He also serves as a member of the Waste Board of the Government of the Canary Islands, advisor to the Association of Circular Economy Waste Managers of the Canary Islands (AGERCAN), and member of the Environment Committee of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (CEOE). Additionally, he is a member of the Committee of the Territorial Waste Management Plan (PTEOR) and collaborates in working groups for various environmental regulations, including: Ecological Transition and Climate Change. Circular Economy and PIRCAN. He is a member of the Waste Cluster and the Pfaes working group of the Department of Ecological Transition and Climate Change, as well as the Task Force for European affairs of the Outermost Regions. Furthermore, he represents his foundation in the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact. He holds a degree in Business and Marketing.
