Description

The plastic treaty session is conceived as a session to explain and inform about the work done by the INC to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, engage the audience and discuss about challenges and needs of this international multilateral environment agreement.

Objectives:

  • Inform about the work done by the intergovernmental negotiation committee (INC) for an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution.
  • Share the point of view of NGO, research, administrations and private sector involved in the INC sessions.
  • Explain the objectives of the plastic treaty.
  • Discuss about challenges to face with this instrument.
